UI/UX DESIGN

Work I did for Tanjarine, a digital dining platform for restaurants. This platform consisted of proprietary tablets for patrons to use at participating locations. These tablets would communicate with proprietary handhelds provided for restaurant staff. Integrated with the restaurant POS system, Tanjarine allowed patrons to order food, refills and pay for their meals right from their tablets. The tablets also had multiplayer games and integrated local services.
Tanjarine Tablet

The Tanjarine Tablet is a mobile platform used as part of the Tanjarine 3-piece service umbrella. The digital menu interface allows patrons to browse a limitless menu, order and customize their items, flag down their servers with a tap and pay right on the tablet with an integrated payment swipe.
The tablet also features a full entertainment section, featuring a wide array of mobile games, both multiplayer and solo. The entire interface was designed with flexibility in mind, allowing any kind of content to be featured, be it food or advertisement. The layout always keeps each corner-case in mind, as there are always different requests with each different client.

Tanjarine Handheld
The Tanjarine Handheld is a mobile platform for restaurant waitstaff that allows them to communicate with their patrons via the provided tablets that are integrated in the Tanjarine service.
Waitstaff is able to receive notficiations directly from their tables, send out order requests and swap tables/servers on the fly with a tap of a button.
As a backend device, the design in mind
was a POS system fashion - functionality
over aesthetics. Including bold
colors and texts that improves
readability allowing servers
to quickly make selections.
